People often ask me what tools and services I personally recommend.
Since I’m all about saving money and being as frugal as possible, it’s no surprise that I built my business on a tight budget. I only invest in paid tools when they truly make a difference in the quality of my work.
Some of the links below are affiliate links, but I only ever recommend tools I actually use and love.
To make things easier for you, I’ve also highlighted which ones are completely free or have a free plan available.
Facebook Tools
For managing Facebook, I rely on Metricool. I use it to track competitors, figure out what content is performing well, and create engaging posts without much hassle.
It also works great as a scheduler.
Writing
Writing is a big part of what we do, so my team and I use a few different tools to streamline the process and improve our content—depending on what we’re working on.
Hand-Written Articles
When I need 100% hand-written content that’s emotionally engaging and keeps readers hooked, I order from the T'H Content Team. They always deliver fantastic, hands-off results.
AI Writing Toolkit
For SEO-focused content that needs to rank well and bring in traffic, I use Agility Writer. It helps create high-quality, optimized articles quickly.
General Assistant
For brainstorming ideas, summarizing research, or doing any other kind of AI-based tasks, I turn to ChatGPT Plus. It’s an everyday helper.
Pinterest Tools
Pinterest is another big channel for me.
I start with Pinclicks to do keyword research and check out what my competitors are up to.
Once the content is ready, I use Metricool again to schedule and post my Pins.
How I Learn
If you're short on time and want to learn new skills fast, I believe a good course is the way to go.
Sure, there’s a lot of free content out there—I used that route for years. But it takes a lot of time to piece everything together.
Instead, I prefer watching step-by-step videos from someone who’s already doing what I want to do. It saves a ton of time and confusion.
My go-to Facebook course is the Facebook For Niche Sites Course. It’s affordable and packed with over-the-shoulder video tutorials so you know exactly what steps to take.
Brand Sponsorships
Working directly with brands is a great way to earn money that doesn’t depend on website traffic. I highly recommend the Pitch & Profit course. It covers everything you need to know about landing brand deals.
Email Marketing
The Million Dollar Newsletter Playbook is a fantastic course that teaches you how to grow an email list and turn it into a profitable asset.
I had no clue how to use Pinterest when I started, but the Pinpoint Traffic course made everything simple. It’s detailed and super beginner-friendly.
Technical Stuff
Theme
All of my websites run on the GeneratePress WordPress theme. It’s fast, lightweight, and doesn’t require any coding skills.
There’s a free version that’s great if you’re just getting started, but the paid version is definitely worth it for more customization options.
Hosting
I currently host my sites with Hostinger. Both have been reliable and budget-friendly.
Site Speed
To keep everything running smoothly and fast, I use WP Rocket. It handles all my performance needs with ease.
I hope this list gives you a clear starting point and saves you time (and money) as you build your own creative journey. These are the tools and resources I trust and genuinely enjoy using. Feel free to try them out and see what works best for you!
